Since we have had a couple of rains in the past week, I decided to drive past the new pond this morning to see if it is filling up. (See the blog post on March 23 --Digging the Pond/Building the Dam, if you're interested in seeing what it looked like empty.)

It looks to me as if it is about 1/3 full. I wonder how many gallons of water it holds?
