Sometimes we go through seasons where God prunes us back.
In the natural world, the trees are changing colors—and many times they are at their most vivid right before the leaves begin to fade and fall from the tree.
No! It is sleeping—resting in preparation for a new season of growth in the coming spring! John 15:1-2, 4 says:
Are you feeling fruitless—as if you are in a winter season of life? Friend, we all go through seasons like that, but we are called to rejoice in the MIDST of adversity! The upcoming Thanksgiving season is a time to rejoice in all the good things He has provided, even while nature slumbers. It is a time to ABIDE in Him and bear fruit! |
