Allen West: "I have an idea to cut government spending immediately. Every Member of Congress who stood and applauded when Obama said he can take steps without legislation can be immediately fired since they agree they are irrelevant -- including their staff. Their constituents can then live under the rule of edict instead of the rule of law. I think that would save us a whole bunch of money -- including their congressional pensions since they abandoned their duties."
