Every year since we discovered the volunteer patch of daffodils growing on our property I have dug 20-50 clumps and planted them along our lane, which is about 1/2 mile long and under trees in the yard. The work is beginning to pay off as daffodils seem to be blooming wherever I look. I haven't yet dug any this year but all these bright patches of yellow are encouraging me to get out there and do it.
